
Apple Cake Recipe From Scratch

Fall is a great time to start making homemade fresh & moist cakes with seasonal fruits!
My family loves this Fresh Apple Cake Recipe, especially now that it’s fall and apple season!!
Apple Cake From Scratch
- 1 Cup of White Sugar
- 1 Cup of Dark Brown Sugar
- 3 Eggs Beaten
- 1 Cup of Oil
- 2 Teaspoons of Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 Cups of Flour
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
- 2 Teaspoons of Cinnamon
- 4 Peeled (cored, and Diced Apples)
Ingredients for Topping
- 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Pound of Unsalted Butter
- In Order, mix all Cake Ingredients by hand.
- Pour in a 9×13 greased and floured Cake Pan.
- Bake at 350, approximately 45-50 minutes.
Directions for Topping
- In a Sauce Pan, mix all ingredients together and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour over Cake and return to oven for 5 minutes.
Serve this delicious apple cake warm with vanilla ice cream!
