When buying fresh mushrooms, you can buy the large stuffing mushrooms or the smaller button mushrooms. Or – buy a mix of both.
EASY STUFFED MUSHROOMS WITH CRABMEAT
2 (8 oz.) packages of fresh large-size button mushrooms (just pick the biggest they have)
Stuffing Ingredients:
2 ( 7 oz.) cans crabmeat
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped fine
2 tablespoons of butter
Pinch of thyme and pinch of oregano
Salt & Pepper
Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Using a spoon, hollow out the the insides of the mushrooms.

Simmer mushrooms in butter for about 2-3 minutes on each side of the mushroom.

PREHEAT OVEN TO 500 DEGREES.
Mix stuffing ingredients. With a spoon, fill each mushroom until full.
Bake mushrooms in a large casserole dish for 5 minutes.
Broil mushrooms for 5 minutes until bubbly.
