
Birdseye Rice and Vegetables Recipe for a Healthy and Delicious Cheesy Rice Side Dish

We love the Birds Eye Lightly Sauced Broccoli with Cheese Sauce cooked with some white rice to cheesy deliciousness!
- Just boil 2 cups of water for rice, once the water has begun to boil add 1 cup of white rice and stir, add your bag of lightly Sauced Broccoli with Cheese Sauce. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 16 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.

Jazz up plain rice using this package of Birdseye Vegetables.
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white rice (uncooked)
- 1 (10.8 oz) Bag of Birdseye Lightly Sauced Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Bring 2 cups of water with salt to a boil in a medium saucepan with a tight fitting lid.

Once the water begins to boil, stir in the rice.

Empty the package of vegetables into the pan with the rice and gently stir.

Cover; reduce heat and cook for about 16-17 minutes.

Stir in cheddar cheese and cover. Let sit covered for about 3 minutes.
