Picnic Baked Beans using Bush’s Baked Beans
What is the one thing everyone loves at a picnic? Picnic Baked Beans! Not just any old can of beans either, the beans that you “Dr.” up a little to turn them into delicious baked beans with a thick and robust BBQ sauce.
These were special beans or “picnic beans” here in Pittsburgh, PA., and summer was just not summer without a bowl of these beans on the picnic table.
Baked beans were a staple of summer dinners, but when you needed something to take to a party or picnic, you would mix ketchup and mustard into the beans with pieces of bacon and onions on top!
This 4th of July or any picnic you might attend, take a bowl of these delicious Picnic Baked Beans.
