Orange Marmalade is a sweet and tangy luscious treat that has smothered over many of warm buns and biscuits over the years, but it also makes a delicious sauce that goes well with chicken.
When you cook the rice for dinner, make a double batch and store it in the fridge to use again later in the week. This is such a super time-saver and gets this dinner on the table in about 15 minutes or less.
Have some left over vegetables, just thrown them in with the leftover rice and sprinkle with a little soy sauce.
For a quick vegetable to serve with this chicken, sprinkle fresh asparagus with lemon and olive oil. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Orange Marmalade Chicken
Your Family will Love this Chicken using Smucker’s Orange Marmalade.
- 1-1/4 lb. boneless chicken breasts, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2-3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 green onions, slliced
- Sauce:
- 1-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 4 heaping tablespoons orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- Cook thin chicken breasts in melted butter and olive oil until lightly browned, about 2 minutes per side.
- Salt and pepper chicken and sprinkle with garlic while browning.
- Add the green onions just about when the chicken is nice and brown.
- Mix the sauce ingredients and pour over chicken.
- Bring to a light simmer and cook for about 6-8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
