Old Bay Shrimp
We asked the man behind the seafood counter for advice on making a quick shrimp dinner using the pink shrimp that always seem to be on sale and looks so tasty. We wanted to see how he prepares his shrimp!
He said marinate with Old Bay and a little lemon, and then grill them unpeeled.
It’s actually very simple to prepare shrimp this way. Look for shell-on shrimp or easy peel shrimp that is in your seafood section at the grocery store. You’ll also want your shrimp to be deveined.
Make sure the shrimp has been well thawed if it was frozen. Place the shrimp in room temperature water for about 10 minutes. Rinse the shrimp and dump out the water and repeat if the shrimp is not completely thawed.

Marinate the shrimp by squeezing lemon over all of the shrimp and then sprinkle with Old Bay Seasoning.
Let this sit and marinate in the fridge for about an hour.

Thread shrimp onto the skewers and grill about 4 minutes on each side or until shrimp are cooked through.

We had a great time at the dinner table peeling the shrimp. It almost feels like being at the beach! We served the Old Bay Shrimp with fresh corn on the cob and simple boiled baby red potates
