Lipton Onion Soup Pot Roast
Make this Classic Pot Roast Recipe and Serve over Fluffy Mashed Potatoes
- 2 cans of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
- 1 package Lipton dry onion soup mix (we like the Lipton Beefy Onion)
- 1-1/4 cups water
- 5 pounds pot roast
- Mix cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and water right in the crockpot. Place the pot roast in the crockpot and coat the meat with the sauce.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 8-9 hours.
Serve this perfectly delicious pot roast over mashed potatoes because it makes a savory gravy!
- You can also brown the roast before adding to the slow cooker or crockpot. Just lightly salt and pepper and add a little oil and a few shakes of Worcestershire to the skillet.
