- 2 cups dried split green peas, cleaned and picked through
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 2 cloves cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
