
Homemade Fresh Pear Cake
Here is a great fresh pear cake recipe that’s simple and fun to bake, I’m sure the whole family will love it! Pears are in season at the end of the summer so grab them while they’re at their best!

Homemade Fresh Pear Cake
- 3 eggs
- 2 Cups White Sugar
- 1-1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 Very ripe peeled Pears (hand mashed)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- In a Mixing bowl, beat eggs Gradually add sugar and oil; mix thoroughly. Combine the flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda; add to egg mixture and mix well. Stir in pears and vanilla.
- Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch Cake pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- In a small bowl, combine the confectioners’ sugar and milk; Hand wisk until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm cake.
- Serve with Ice Cream
