Green Beans with Garlic and Ginger
Serve you family this Healthy Green Bean Recipe with lots of Garlic and Ginger.
- 1 (10 oz.) Bag of Frozen Green Beans
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced fine
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 3-4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
Add the olive oil to a medium-sized skillet and heat. Add the beans and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
-
Lightly salt & pepper beans and then add the chicken broth. Let beans cook in broth for about 3 minutes, stirring often.
-
Move the beans over to make room for the garlic and ginger. Add them both to the skillet with a small amount of olive oil if necessary. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
-
Stir the garlic and ginger in with the beans and sprinkle with soy sauce and Sesame oil. Stir to combine.

Saute the green beans and then push them over to the side of the pan to add the garlic and grated ginger. Add a little additional oil if necessary.

Add a couple teaspoons of soy sauce to enhance the flavors of the garlic and ginger. A little bit goes a long way when you are adding soy sauce. We always use Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce in our recipes.
Always remember in cooking these green beans – less oil is better. You only need a small amount of oil/fat to make these beans healthy & delicious!
