
Easy Sticky Chicken Recipe with Soy Sauce, Honey and Fresh Broccoli
This is an easy recipe that is one of our favorites. Once you get the hang of making this easy sticky chicken recipe, you will begin to make your own delicious modifications.
You can use a little more Sesame oil, soy sauce or honey, and even use different vegetables like fresh asparagus or zucchini.
Here is the basic recipe with pretty simple instructions. We love using chicken thighs for this dish and they always turn out perfectly delicious. Chicken thighs are easy to cook even for the most beginner cook.
Easy Sticky Chicken Thighs with Broccoli

- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1-1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 small head broccoli

Lightly salt and pepper both sides of the chicken thighs.

Heat soy sauce, olive oil and Sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Lay chicken thighs in skillet and cook on one side for about 3-4 minutes or until well browned.

Flip chicken thighs and cook for about 2 minutes.

Sprinkle honey on top of chicken thighs; cover and cook on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.

Add a few teaspoons of water if needed and add the broccoli to the pan. Cover and cook about 4 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.

Lightly salt and pepper chicken thighs and lay them flat. This recipe calls for boneless, skinless chicken thighs, but you can buy your chicken with the skin if you desire. You can even save money and buy chicken with the bone-in and skin.

Let the chicken simmer until cooked through. Don’t add the honey until the chicken has been browned on one side and then flipped.
